TamilSeed gave a short introduction about the organization and its activities before explaining the Corona Innovation Challenge. Around 50 participants (mostly Tamil youths) attended the zoom meeting about the Corona Innovation Challange. Lot of good input and healthy discussion about the purpose of TamilSeed and the Corona Innovation Challange itself. Everyone who attended the meeting wanted to contribute to the development of TamilSeed somehow.

TamilSeed mobilizes the global Tamil community to fight the virus
TamilSeed invites the Tamil innovators to share their innovative solutions and be part of the mission against the coronavirus. Submitted solutions will be evaluated, and those selected will be rewarded.
Below are some of the challenges but not limited to:
- Effective ways to protect healthcare workers
- Simple way to log the symptoms
- Easy and low-cost home testing kits
- Effective ways to track infected persons
- Empower citizens with correct information
